Q 1 What is Certified Copy (CC)?
Ans Certified Copy (CC) is a record for verify the ownership of registered immovable/Movable properties.
Q 2 Why certified copy is needed?
Ans Agencies like banks refer to certified copies of registered sale deeds before giving a loan on a mortgaged property to verify the ownership. The income Tax department may also refer to a certified copy to ascertain the value of the transaction and assess the income of the property buyer or seller. CC of registered documents relating to immovable properties is obtained to verify the legality of the transaction of property effected through it.
Q 3 How to register first time user?
Ans Open the Kaveri 2.0 portal URL (https://kaveri.karnataka.gov.in/landing-page) in any of the browser and in the home page click the register button, and enter the citizen details, with mobile number& e-Mail ID, then will get auto generated passwordto your register Mobile number/e-Mail ID, by this you can login to Kaveri 2.0
Q 4 After login where should the citizen go to apply the Certificate Copy? 
Ans Under start application Citizen should select Certificate Copy (CC) option to apply.
Q 5 Is there any option to get CC’s which are register before 01-04-2004?
Ans Yes: Applicant needs to fill online application form & e-Sign the same which are    registered before 01-04-2004
Q 6 What are the fees for certified copy?
Ans Application Fee -Rs.10
Search Fee-Rs.30
Stamp duty-Rs.50
Copying fee (Per page)-Rs.10
Q 7 Is E-sign is mandatory to get CC?
Ans Yes, E-Sign is mandatory to avail a CC of the document searched.
Q 8 Is Aadhaar number is mandatory to get CC?
Ans Yes,   Aadhaar number is mandatory, to esign the filled form.
Q 9 Whether service of CC is under Sakala?
Ans CC is included under Sakala and the timeline for delivery of service in 3 Working Days
Q 10 How applicant can do online payment for CC?
Ans When applicant receive a notification for payment, applicant can pay the required amount
online by selecting the payment gateway and applicable mode of payment and pay the
required amount on the fly.
Q 11 Are there multiple payment modes available?
Ans Yes. There is multiple payment modes are available as below

A. Net banking – Applicant  can use their net banking-enabled account to make the online payment
B. Debit Card/Credit Card – Applicant can use their Debit/Credit cards which are provided by the bank to
    make the online payment
C. UPI (GPay/Phone Pay)– Applicant  can use their UPI-enabled account to make the  online payment

Note: Manual Payment is not acceptable.
Q 12 Is it required to visit office to collect CC?
Ans No, after making successful payment the CC will get downloaded in applicant login.
Q 13 Details of Public Grievance System are established?
Ans Call centre or helpline has been setup for addressing the grievances - 080 68265316
Q 14 Facility available for submission of online complaint? 
Ans Yes citizen can send mail to said emails: helpdsr@karnataka.gov.in , igrshelpline@gmail.com
Q 15 Is the department interacting through its social media?
Ans Yes. The Department of Stamps and Registration actively participates to post new

Q 16 Is there any tutorial videos available in the Departmental websites?
Ans Yes. Department has its own YouTube channel and regularly releases tutorial videos
